Just birding at home


 Today I decided to just bird with out my proper camera and to take my new binoculars, old,small camera(just in case) note pad and several colored pencils. I really want to improve my field sketches. I car't seem to, I can draw well, but not field sketch.
So I went out and mainly saw sparrows and a Dunnock (one of my favorite species!) I didn't not get any very good sketches,but they're OK.
 The Dunnock was lovely. I just got some Nikon Aculon 8x42's and looking though them at the dunnock is awesome. Dunnock have beautiful feathers and are sweet.
 While I was birding the hens came up on the deck and sun bathed. They looked so funny!
