The mystery of the Mist Net
On the way back after the trap line we found out. A man was testing the bird for Avian Malaria and banding them. Just as he was packing up he caught a Dunnock and we got to see him giving her/him a blood test. He/r had a little band on his leg.
I would love to band birds one day!
