Rat Traping
Today we went trap checking with the Friends of Rotoiti. They manage the traps around Nelson Lakes National Park.There are several people in each group ( there were five groups today). The groups split up to do the different trap lines. We did the Peninsula track trap line.
Alought this is rat trap line it also catches mice and weasels . In fact, today our group only caught mice. Thirteen of them. By the sound of it the others caught rats as well.
There were quite a few traps that had been sprung and some with food missing. One box's trap was missing.
