Anglers' walk, Lake Rotoiti

Just before we left I saw this beautiful robin on our driveway.
This morning Mum said we could go to the Anglers Walk, Lake Rotoiti. It runs along the Buller River toward the highway and ends at the road.
It is a very pleasant one hour walk along what would have once been Blue Duck habitat. Bird life included Bellbird, fantail, tomtit, mallard, and many others. I did not hear many birds as the sound of the river was overpowering in most places.
Lots of Butterflies danced from rock to rock and I found a Manuka Chafer. Or did he find us. At the end of the track a I saw a  Black Shag fly over,  probably from Teetotal Flats.
