Hides are great! The views from a hide are often much better than the ones with out.
Down below my house there is a large clearing in which I had built a hut. As the hut didn't get much use as a hut I converted it into a hide.
I also added a feeder and a bird table.
When I was waiting for some sparrows to land on the feeder, a little male tomtit kept on landing in,on and around the hide! (The sparrows never did land on it then as my pet rooster would crow if they came near! )
I'm planing to add some peanut and suet feeders to it. A sugar water feeder will also be placed in the fuchsia tree when it flowers.
